You will be missed.
"My plea is that we stop seeking out the storms and enjoy more fully the sunlight. I am suggesting that as we go through life, we "accentuate the positive". I am asking that we look a little deeper for the good, that we still our voices of insult and sarcasm, that we more generously compliment and endorse virtue and effort." - Gordon B. Hinckley
Gordon B. Hinckley, president of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and prophet of the world, passed away on January 27, 2008 around 7 p.m. He was 97 years old. He had been the prophet since I was in high school back in 1995. We will miss his smile and sense of humor. Certainly he will be happy to be reunited with his lovely wife, Marjorie Pay Hinckley, who passed away a few years ago.
"The trick is to enjoy life. Don't wish away your days, waiting for better ones ahead." - Marjorie Pay Hinckley

Rosa Parks Museum
We have been looking for other things to do now, since it has been too cold to play at the park.
Scott enjoyed the Museum, especially the water fountain.
He was so impressed with himself for figuring out how to work it. He is such a funny boy!
The MOOseum - Alabama Cattlemen's Association
I asked Scott where we live, and this is where he pointed! What a smart kid!!
Learning more about cows.

Self-Entertaining. . .
Scott loves playing on this toy dog, but he also likes to stand on the seat - - he has fallen, but goes right back to do it again! He is fearless!!
This is a little bird that Scott always drags around the house with him.
Scott doing his chores!! :)

So Grown Up, Isn't He?
Scott posing for his picture. . .
Reaching for the broom - - - he is a great little helper, and sweeps whenever he gets a chance. If he ever finds a towel or rag, even a paper towel, he will start wiping the cabinets or the counter.

Why Not?
Scott was terribly disappointed when we did not stay at the park for longer, but as you can see, it was WAY too cold! Look at how red his face was!!
