We love you, Mark!
USAF Senior Airman, Mark A. Forester
May 15th, 1981 - September 29th, 2010
I couldn't believe it when I heard the news. I think it took a week or so to sink in, and I am not completely sure it has totally sunk in yet. . . What I DO know is that I am grateful to Mark for serving our country. I always enjoyed hearing Mark and Thad (his brother) bounce stories off of each other, each one adding another funny detail, laughing, and adding to the story. . . I can remember it so vividly. I will genuinely miss that for me, and for Thad, too, because I know that those stories will never quite be the same. Much Love to the Forester Family. Thanks for raising a hero.

I was able to attend the funeral in Haleyville, AL and the outpouring of love and support was incredible. It made me wish I were from Haleyville. The streets were lined with people holding flags, balloons, and signs honoring Mark and expressing love to his family ~ ~ from the high school where the funeral was held for the entire route to the cemetary. I will never forget it.~
